The story is about a 13-year-old kid Auro who is suffering from a rare genetic disease Progeria, due to which the diseased would age 4-5 times faster than normal. Auro is a very intelligent kid who befriends an MP, Amol Atre, only to know later that Amol is his father. Vidya, Auro’s mother is not ready to accept Amol in her life. Will Auro change Vidya’s mind? Will Auro get his Paa? Find out in a theatre near you and don’t forget to take your entire family along.Abhishek Bachchan as Amol Matre is in full form, he gives a heartening performance after Guru. Vidya Balan is a revelation; her performance can very well be described as the life of the movie. She makes even the simple scenes extremely special with just her eyes. Arundati Naag and Paresh Rawal are brilliant in the role they are bestowed with. And now comes the time to talk about Auro. When you think all the heights have been already achieved by the Shehenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan comes up with a blinder of a performance which will be talked upon and be taken as a benchmark for any performance to come henceforth from Bollywood or otherwise. Christien Tinsley and Domini Til’s make up of Amitabh is sensational. Not even once do we think it is Amitabh who is inside all the layers of make-up but a real child is playing the role.
Overall, it’s a movie for everyone who wants to smile, who wants to cry and who wants to get entertained. An honest movie straight from the heart with a heart. Enjoy the Auro magic in the theaters and seeing it in a pirated version will be a sin committed to one of the greatest performer world has ever seen.
